Memories of the Jackass and the Elephant

It's astoundingly amazing the memory Democrats have for George Bush.  They can't forget him. It matters not, they invoke his name at every turn of the hat, especially when it comes to blame.  At times it seems the only issue they have is George Bush.  But, then that is the nature of Democrats. . . . blame someone else.  Case in point, President Herbert Hoover.

I was born during the Hoover Administration and grew up in The Great Depression.  I well remember all through those years and for years and years afterwards the Democrats blamed poor old Herbert Hoover for every ailment to beset the nation.

The Jackass has the memory of the Elephant when assessing blame.

West Africa Ebola Travel Ban

The Obama administration consistently refuses to impose a travel ban on those West African countries with the Ebola epidemic.  These countries are predominately Muslim.  Sierra Leone is 73%, Guinea is 85%, Nigeria is 50%, and Liberia is 13%.  Muslim treatment of the dead according to Sharia requires washing the body by relatives in preparation for the funeral.  This religious custom spreads the Ebola disease.

ISIS recruits fighters for their cause from many places in the world.  Do they recruit from these West African countries?  Or, do they have a travel ban to keep people from these West African nations out of their strongholds in Syria and Iraq?

I suspect a Muslim or anyone from one of these affected countries would not be welcome by ISIS, and in all probably would be quickly exterminated without benefit of Sharia custom.

Is ISIS smarter than Obama?

Ebola Question?

Concerning this outbreak of Ebola there is a nagging question that begs for an answer.

Why is it the government experts keep telling us the Ebola virus can be spread only by personal contact with an Ebola infected person or his/her bodily fluids; whereas, they go to great lengths to disinfect the apartments of the two nurses that contacted Ebola, and disinfect the commercial airplane on which the nurse flew from Cleveland to Dallas?

They, the government experts, surely must have cause to believe the Ebola virus has the inherent capability to linger in the ambient surroundings of an Ebola infected person.  There appears to be a contradiction here.

Obama - The Braveheart

At the news conference at the end of the meeting with his minions on the Ebola problem Obama said, "I shook hands with, hugged, and kissed not the doctors but a couple of the nurses at Emory.  I felt perfectly safe."  He was referring to the hospital famous for treating Ebola patients in Atlanta, Georgia.

Now, that is the epitome of bravery. . . . to hug two nurses.  Perhaps he should be awarded a medal.    I wonder if he would so brave to go to Liberia and hug a couple of nurses since there is no travel ban to and from that country?  (Sarcasm intended.)

This man is so full of untruths and contradictions it is beyond reason to understand him.  We have to ask ourselves, "Is he so void of morality, or is it by design?"

October Surprise?

Was Mr. Duncan, the man from Liberia with ebola, the Democrats' October surprise?

Four weeks before election day Mr. Duncan shows up in Texas, the heart of Republicanism, infected with ebola.  He exposes hospital workers and dies.  The Obama administration refuses to stop airline flights in and out of West Africa.

Two nurses that treated Mr. Duncan now have ebola.  Is this by design?  Is this in keeping with the Democrat's mantra of  "Never let a crisis go to waste"?  Are they using this to make them look like they are the only ones capable to control an outbreak of ebola in the United States? And, to expand the tentacles of government even deeper into the nation's health care system?

Not making accusations.  Just thinking outside the box.

The Purpose of Marriage

The gutless Supreme Court refused to hear the case on same-sex marriage defaulting to the liberal lower court decisions in effect making same-sex marriage the law of the land though a majority of the population opposes same-sex marriage.

Marriage as a union between a man and a woman has been an institution since the beginning of civilization even in the most archaic and primitive societies.

So, just what is the purpose of marriage?  It is the foundation for procreation to perpetrate the society in a civil manner.  It takes a man and a woman to procreate.  Homosexuals don't procreate.

When "love" is the only criteria for marriage as stated by the attorney for same-sex marriage, Ted Olson, on national TV then the question that arises is: "What are the boundaries?"  Can a man love several men?  Can a woman love several women?  Can a man love a number of women?  Can a woman love a number of men?  Can a man love his daughter?  Can a woman love her son?  Can a boy love his sister?  Can a girl love her brother?  Can a man or woman love their dog or cat?  The possibilities are ludicrous.

When asked to comment about homosexuality Albert Einstein said, "Even dogs know gender."  The Supreme Court needs to heed good ole' Albert.

Ebola and Dysfunctional Government

How dysfunctional can our government be?

On one hand they tell us it is not practical to disallow airline flights in and out of the ebola infested West Africa countries; whereas on the other hand they say the ebola virus has to be contained in those countries.  How can it be contained there if they let people fly in and out?  Oh, they'll check their temperatures at five U.S. airports of entry.  Yes, and what about the other airports of entry?  And, as Mr. Duncan proved temperature alone is not a true indicator.

So, how do they contain the virus in those countries?  They send several thousand American military personnel into those countries to "fight" the ebola. They assure us "all practical protocols are being observed" with straight faces.  You and I know very well some of those troops will return to the United States infected with the ebola virus.  Then what?

Despite all the assurance from Obama down to the Dallas County judge that it is "highly unlikely" we will have the ebola virus outbreak here it has happened.  Just today a nurse that treated Mr. Duncan in Dallas has been diagnosed with ebola.

This isn't very comforting for the public at large.  A little sarcasm to illustrate the point:  My wife suggested Obama go to West Africa to fight the ebola.  I said it won't happen.  They don't have a golf course there.

The Media finally recognizes what Obama really is

It's amazing that only now the power elites in the national media are coming to understand what Obama really is.  It is only after the likes of Leon Panetta and Jimmy Carter outed Obama that they finally began to recognize that he was only an empty suit, blank canvas, empty cup, all hat, however you want to characterize him; whereas, all of us, the great unwashed in the hinterland, knew what Obama was from the gitgo.

Is it that the great media moguls so invested their dreams of what they wanted Obama, the first historic black president, to be that they were blinded by their own myopic glitter from the reality of what he really is. . . . a narcissistic person void of leadership skills that loves the sound of his own voice and wallows in the adulation of his bevy of admirers?

Not the qualities of a great president; not even the qualities of a mediocre president.

Workplace Violence or Terrorism?

An active duty major in the U.S. Army at Fort Hood shoots and kills 13 soldiers in a confined processing center while shouting Jihadist expletives.  The Obama administration characterizes it as workplace violence.

A 54-year old grandmother is beheaded at her office in a food processing plant in Moore, Oklahoma, by a man while shouting Jihadist expletives.  The Obama administration characterizes it as workplace violence.

An American army general on active duty in Afghanistan is shot and killed by an embedded member of the Afghan military .  Yet, this killing by a Jihadist is characterized as an act of terrorism.  Isn't the general's workplace in Afghanistan?  Why isn't it characterized as workplace violence?

Why the discrepancies?  Is it the location?  Is it the reluctance of the Obama administration to characterize any terrorist act as what it really is. . . terrorism?
Why is Obama so loath to use the term terrorism?  I think this is just one of the many questions about Obama that begs for an answer.
