Mankind’s Greatest Danger

Mankind’s greatest danger is not climate change.  It is not asteroids.  It is not UFO’s.  It is not fossil fuel. It is not fire ants.  It is man himself. The single greatest thing man has accomplished from the stone age to the atomic age is how to kill more and more people faster and faster.  When mankind’s existence is compared  to the life of the planet as the Empire State Building man is the thickness of a dime sitting on the very top.  Climate change is a fantasy.  It is weather and has been  here since the beginning and will continue long after mankind is gone.  Asteroids are a rare possibility.  The planet has been hit by a few during its entire existence.  UFO’s are just that.  Unknown. They’ve yet to do anything to threaten mankind.  Fossil fuel is the single most important discovery by man to create a better existence for mankind.  Fire ants.  Well, they’re here to stay as a nuance but non-threatening to mankind. 

The most dangerous thing to mankind’s existence on the planet is a man or group of men that unleash on the world some means that eliminates mankind for good.  The most recent harbinger of what is to come is the COVID virus unleashed on the planet by China killing hundreds of thousands of people.  It behooves us to exert major time and energy working to solve man made problems and quit worrying about climate change, asteroids, fossil fuel, and UFO’s.

Renewable or Fossil Fuel Power

Biden announced on TV today the average Americans will save $8,000 to $12,000 each year in fuel costs when they transition from fossil fuel to electric vehicles.  Questions:  How much will it cost per year in additional electricity to recharge the batteries for electric vehicles?  Fossil fuels provide 84% (oil 33%, gas 24%, coal 27%) of our all our power needs. The rest is provided by hydro (6%), renewable (5%), and nuclear (4%).  Also, how many miles or years do the batteries last?  I have a 1988 Lincoln TownCar 32 years old.  It still runs on  fossil fuel (gasoline).  Will batteries last 32 years?  How much will it cost for new replacement batteries?  How do we dispose of the used batteries?  Solar panels (costly) and windmills (unreliable) is not the answer.  The solution lies in technology somewhere out there in the future.  In the meantime fossil fuels are our best most economical source for our power needs.

 

Rittenhouse Case

The Rittenhouse not guilty verdict sparked much comment by some politicians and TV pundits that we can’t have vigilantes roaming our streets with AR-15’s.  These same “talking heads” seldom, if at all, speak out against demonstrators that carry firearms as they create violence, threaten people, destroy and burn businesses, and yes in some instances kill people.  Much has been said that if Rittenhouse had not been there there would have been no shooting.  Yes, and if the demonstrators had not been there there would have been no shooting.  And, if pigs had wings they would fly.

 Biden is not incompetent

There’s much ado in the national  media that Biden is senile, incompetent, confused, asleep at the switch, doesn’t know where he is, etc.  Wrong!  Joe is fully competent. He  knows exactly where he is and what he is doing. He played his election campaign to perfection. He was the poor little old grandfatherly man hiding in his basement from a deadly virus. Thus, out came an outpouring of the sympathy vote. Once elected he continued to play the grandfatherly role to the hilt. He often lost his train of thought. He often miss spoke. He spoke like a grandfather whispering to the children. All this performance to mask (pun intended) his real objectives to wreck our economy and cow-tow to China. He should get an Oscar for his performance. He didn’t swim with the alligators forty years and not know how to manipulate the masses.

   

 Our government has publicly said it will pay up to $450,000 to illegal immigrants who have been separated from their children.  Insanity is not adequate to even consider this. Since our government has no way to verify who is who I foresee a mass of thousands will bemoan the loss of their children and come forward to say their children were separated by the border authorities and claim their $450,000. Such a deal!
