The 2nd Amendment.

Why is it the 2nd Amendment?  Why isn’t it the 10th Amendment?  Why isn’t it the 8th Amendment?  Why is there even a 2nd Amendment?  Think about this.  Why is the 1st Amendment the 1st Amendment?  It is the 1st Amendment because our founding fathers believed life and liberty are sacred rights therefor the 1st Amendment provides freedom of speech and religion as paramount to the preservation of life and liberty.  So why is the 2nd Amendment 2nd?  It’s not for hunting.  It’s  not for sport.  It’s to protect the 1st Amendment from tyrannical government and tyrannical despots. Therefore the constant drumbeat by the Progressive Left for gun control, the confiscation of all firearms, and the elimination of the the 2nd Amendment.  So, it’s for the 2d Amendment we have survived as a democratic republic since our inception. No despot wants to meet that much fire power in the hands of good people.
