Investment

Just what is an investment? 

Definition: Investment is an asset acquired or invested in to build wealth and save money from the hard earned income or appreciation. Investment is primarily made to obtain an additional source of income or gain profit from the investment over a specific period of time.

The government makes much ado about making investments in all manner of things that have nothing to do with  saving money,  building wealth, source of income, or gaining profit. What government does is spend money it takes from others.  They characterize spending as investment to obscure their true intent  to spend money. To invest sounds more palatable than to spend.  Just another example of the many Washington-speak words to fool the people.  

 D-Day (Russia & China)

Today is D-Day.  Seventy-seven days ago this day over 4,000 American lives were scarified on the alter of freedom as they stormed the beaches of Normandy France to free Europe from tyranny.  Much is said about the war to free Europe.  Nothing is said about freeing Russia and China from tyranny.  Hitler’s troops were on the outskirts of Moscow when the Americans interceded and saved Russia from Hitler.  China was fully occupied by Japan as the Americans fought and died to save China from the tyranny of Japan.  As Germany and Japan were on the verge of defeat and surrender General George Patton wanted to sweep all the way to  Moscow.  General MacArthur wanted to attack and sweep the Korean Peninsula and attach Russia from the east.  Patton and MacArthur were seasoned warriors from earlier years. Both had previous encounters with Russia early in their young careers. They knew and understood the Russian psychic.  For the most part China was a rural backward country gravely torn apart at the end of the war.  Patton and  MacArthur were scorned and countermanded by President Truman and eventually forced into retirement.  Truman saw it as his duty to instill the Roosevelt dream of a peaceful global world.  To him it was a political decision and not a military decision.  Consequently, Russia and China were granted equal world power status with long-term American aid to develop their economies.  Big  mistake.  The communist mind set does not equate or function like the American democratic mind set.

So, what do we have seventy-seven years later?  Grateful remembrance?  No, we, the Americans, created two Frankenstein monsters dedicated to subdue us into their subservience.  So much for gratefulness. 

As a WW II Veteran with no combat experience I greatly remember and honor those that served and died for the cause.  God bless their souls.

 FAUCI - RE-POST

I initially posted this last May.  If an ordinary guy like me could see through Fauci so early in the game, why did it take over a year for our erstwhile political powers that be to understand the threat Fauci poses?

MESSAGE TO ANTHONY FAUCI

Sit down and shut up.  You’ve had more than your moment of national attention and fame.  You’ve done more than Attila the Hun ever did to put fear in the hearts of mankind. Your computer model projections and predictions about the number of deaths from this COVID virus have missed the mark by a country mile.  You say you don’t make economic predictions, yet  based on your predictions millions of people are now unemployed and dependent on the largess of government for subsistence.  You are an egg-head crystal-ball gazer that with the assistance of the Democrats and national news media hoodwinked Trump and the nation with a shroud of fear to unnecessarily take drastic measures with real economic consequences. Your computer models are garbage in and garbage out.  Tell  me the results you want and I’ll write you a computer model that will prove your case.  We, the people, are becoming more and more to disbelieve anything you say.  So, GO AWAY and STAY AWAY  in your ivory tower up in the clouds.
