Romney and Bales of Hay

I watched Fox News Channel interview Mitt Romney this morning at the Romney's summer home in New Hampshire.  They were sitting on the patio at the corner of the house with a prim white picket fence in the background. Three small bales of hay were conspicuously situated at the edge of the patio just beyond Mitt.

How hokey!  What the heck was the subliminal message the three bales of hay were supposed to convey?  That Mitt is a country boy?  That Ann is an equestrian known to participate in dressage?

Its astounding what idiotic ideas political handlers come up with.  I'm reminded of the hokey photo opt of Bill Clinton walking along Normandy Beach and just happens upon several well placed small stones which he knelt and placed into the form of a cross.

And, these people run our country.
