Lies, and then more lies

The problem with lying is you then have to lie to cover up the lie, and then lie more to cover those lies.  After a while it becomes impossible to remember which lie is which and which lie was to cover what lie.  You are soon caught up in a web of lies with no way out as the spider lurks on the outer edge.

Trust suffers when government lies, and when trust is at risk it becomes very difficult to govern effectively.  Our government is loosing creditability daily because it has become so caught up in a plethora of lies it can no longer govern in a manner that serves the nation's best interests.  Our "friends" at the IRS are so caught up in their web of lies they may some day be forced by legal action to tell the truth.

The best policy is to tell the truth, thus you don't have to remember all your lies.
