The difference between Putin and Obama

The big difference between Putin and Obama is Putin is no moron.  Gov. Perry of Texas may well have had it right when he said, "Obama is either inept or he has some other intent in mind."  I think it is a full measure of both.

Putin fully understands power politics and how it is  effectively exercised by the use of military might.  Obama doesn't have the slightest clue about power politics and how it is effectively utilized through military strength.  Therefore, he dithers and talks, and talks, and, talks.  Or, rather, he mostly blandly reads what is on the teleprompter.  In Texas we have an expression for someone that is all talk.  We say, "He is all hat."  The way to tell a true Texas cattleman is to look at his boot heels.  If you see traces of cow manure he is for real.  Obama steps in it a lot, but it isn't cow manure.  It is of his own making.
