Antinomy

Good grief!

How would anyone want to be judged today for something they said over thirty years ago?  Isn't there a statute of limitations on so-called hate-speech?

Poor Paula Deen.  Sweet, personable, lovable Paula Deen has been sacked by the PC (Political Correctness) police and virtually destroyed by the liberal media because she truthfully admitted that over thirty years ago, God forbid, she uttered the horrible N-word.  Granted, by todays's standards, whites cannot utter certain words for fear of being branded a racist or bigot.  It depends which end of the racial spectrum you are on.  If you are black its okay to say the N-word in any context.  In fact, you can even say "creepy ass cracker" as testified by a black witness in the on-going Zimmerman-Martin murder trial in Florida.

Something is truly amiss with all this political correctness nonsense.  As a society we are slowly sinking into a cesspool of contradictions.
