What's Real and What's Not?

Am I nuts?  Has the world gone crazy?  What's real and what's not?  I don't know what to believe any more.

Some college star football player has a three year on line romance with an imaginary young lady.  Some well known starlet singer lip synchs the national anthem at the inauguration ceremonies.  The president and his chief aids for weeks blame a terrorist attack on a relatively unknown YouTube video.  An internationally know bicycle competitor publicly admitts he used illegal performance drugs to win all those races.  Politicians say one thing and then do just the opposite.  Some people, including legislators, rush to condemn legal gun owners and urge a ban on all guns not knowing the first thing of what they are saying.

What ever happened to honesty, integrity, sincerity, and truthfulness in our national fabric?
