Houston Campaign Fund Raiser

I just watched on a Houston TV station as a huge limousine pulled up to the stairway leading up to an open door on Air Force One.  A few seconds later  "o" ran up the stairs and into Air Force One as they closed the door behind him.  In less than a minute it was moving on the tarmac to take off for return to Washington.

The TV commentator droned on saying "o" raised $3 million in one day in Houston for his campaign war chest.  A mighty sum for only a few hours.  It cost $500 for a ticket into Reliant Stadium in the nose-bled section.  It cost anywhere from $1500 to $10,000 depending on how close you wanted to be to the "o".  It cost $38,000 for a seat at a dinner held for him.

I wonder how much this one trip cost the taxpayers?  I not only saw the huge presidential limousine but also numerous support vehicles and personnel scurrying about.  Air Force One had to fly a one hour holding pattern before landing at Ellington AFB due to weather.  Then, there was all the costs of the logistics, security, and Houston police presence.  When all the expenses are tallied and deducted I wonder what was the net amount?  Will the Democrat Party reimburse Houston?  And, I guess the taxpayers are hosed for the rest?  Something doesn't see right here.

BO must GO
