Taxes and Forgiven School Loans
I have a problem trying to reconcile why it is I, a WW II Veteran, had to pay $31,865 income tax on the long term gains when I sold investments to have cash to pay medical and increased cost of living expenses, while some snotty-nose brat that studied the sexual habits of Australian rabbits gets a $50,000 school loan forgiven by the government.
