Once again - Americans and a Brit save France

Once again the French were saved by Americans and a Brit.  Three American friends and a Brit leaped to action on a train bound for Paris to subdue a radical Muslim terrorist with two automatic weapons and nine magazines of ammunition no doubt with intent to kill as many people on the train as possible.  He didn't expect anyone would try to stop him.  He miscalculated the fact that Americans may be on the train.

Europeans are often quick to criticize Americans for our guns and our cowboy mentality.  But, when danger  lurks in the offing they're quick to let the Americans take care of the problem to protect them.  It was befitting that France bestow its highest honor on them and the Brit.

It gives cause to pause and contemplate how it is a known radical Muslim terrorist is in the data base and on the watch list of several European countries with his movements tracked, yet he gets on a train from Brussels to Paris armed to the teeth to kill, and it was three unarmed young Americans and a Brit that brought him down.  Go figure.
